Purpose of the Journal
The information of the target audience on the latest achievements and prospects for scientific and scientific-practical activities in the field of land reclamation, water management, hydraulic engineering, creating a unified scientific platform for integrating the knowledge and experience of leading scientists and practitioners in these areas, testing the scientific research of young scientists and graduate students.
The mission of the journal is to promote the development of reclamation science comprehensively through the publication of original scientific articles that can make a significant contribution to the dissemination of knowledge and improved understanding of existing problems of a theoretical and applied nature.
Previously unpublished original scientific articles, review articles, scientific reviews and responses corresponding to the sections of the journal are accepted for consideration.
The target audience of the journal includes researchers, teaching staff of educational institutions, graduate students, students, politicians, businessmen, the expert community and other persons interested in the problems of land reclamation.
Publication of articles in the journal gives authors the opportunity to integrate their research results into the international scientific and information space.
Copyright
The use of papers is carried out in compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on copyright (Chapter 70 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). The authors retain copyright to the paper (work) and grant the journal the right of first publication of the paper (work).
The authors grant the journal the right of first publication of the work under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike International 4.0 license, which allows other consumers to edit, correct and take the work as the basis for derivative works, even for commercial purposes, provided naming authorship with the obligatory preservation of links to the authors original work and original publication in this journal and license their new works under the same terms.
The license mark (CC BY-SA) is located on the title page of published articles.
Authors retain the right to enter into separate contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of a version of the work as published in the Journal (e.g., placement in an institutional repository, publication in a book), with reference to its original publication in that journal.
Authors have the right to post their work online (for example, on an institutional repository or personal website) before and during the journal's review process, as this may lead to productive discussion and more citations to that work (See The Effect of Open Access).

Reviewing
The procedure for publication in the journal provides for mandatory peer review of scientific articles. All scientific articles submitted to the editorial office of the journal are subject to mandatory one-way anonymous (“blind”) peer review (the authors of the manuscript do not know the reviewers and receive a copy of the review with comments without indicating the reviewer’s information).
Borrowings and Anti-plagiarism
When reviewing an article, the editorial board of the journal checks the material using the Anti-Plagiarism system. If multiple borrowings are detected, the editors act in accordance with the COPE rules.
Editorial Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The responsibility for the content of the research manuscript, including the reliability and accuracy of data and the correctness of citations, lies entirely with the authors, regardless of their use of AI tools.
AI cannot be listed as an author or co-author of the article.
AI technologies as auxiliary tools can be used for data analysis and visualization. It is forbidden to use AI to generate actual research results or modify images obtained during the study.
When using AI technologies, users are required to provide personal control at all stages of manuscript preparation, carefully checking all AI-generated conclusions, including facts, citations, and analytical conclusions, for compliance with the relevance of the data and accepted scientific standards.
If AI technologies were used in preparing a manuscript, the program's name and version, the purpose of use, and the search criteria must be indicated in the “Materials and Methods” section of the article.
Authors may not specify this information if non-generative AI was used, for example:
– basic grammar verification tools were used;
– the format of references was adjusted without generating sources;
– general image editing was carried out without modification (cropping, contrast enhancement, etc.).
By submitting material generated using AI, the authors guarantee that they have the right to use the generative content under the terms of the AI licenses.
When reviewing manuscripts, the editorial board uses the Anti-Plagiarism system module to identify AI-generated texts.
Journal reviewers must not process the manuscript or any part of it received for review using AI tools, as this may violate the confidentiality and intellectual property rights of the authors.
The editorial board may request additional information on the use of AI to ensure transparency and compliance with ethical standards.
If misuse of AI technologies is detected in the writing of an article, it may be rejected at any stage of the editorial and publishing process.
Publication Fee
Payment for editorial and publishing services, including translation into English, design of the References section, review of scientific articles is 1,100 rubles.
Publication of articles by graduate students in the journal is free.
There is no charge for publishing an article on the website.
The journal provides publication fee concessions for authors from low-income countries, discounts for authors from lower-middle-income countries, and/or incentives and discounts for other authors with demonstrable needs
Disclosure Policy and Conflicts of Interest
Unpublished data obtained from manuscripts submitted for consideration cannot be used in personal research without the written consent of the Author.
Information or ideas obtained during the review process related to possible benefits should be kept confidential and not used for personal gain.
Reviewers should not participate in the review of manuscripts if there are conflicts of interest due to competitive, collaborative or other interactions or relationships with any of the Authors, companies or other organizations associated with the submitted work.
